Super Curriculum

Our “Super Curriculum” provides additional academic challenges for students who have a passion for particular subjects.

Each subject has provided recommendations for podcasts, videos and books that students can explore, to enable them to develop their knowledge and understanding for subjects they are passionate about.

For students in Years 10 and 11, the “Super Curriculum” will offer them knowledge beyond their GCSE courses, which may help when applying for their Post-16 options.

For students in Years 12 and 13, the “Super Curriculum” will offer them knowledge which they can use to help them during their Post-18 applications for university, apprenticeships and beyond.

The “Super Curriculum” is not homework and, as a result, will not be checked by class teachers. However, we would encourage all students to engage with it and if they would like to discuss anything they have watched or read as part of the “Super Curriculum”, then their class teachers would welcome this.
