CV applications will only be considered for speculative and NQT candidates in the first instance. Once a candidate has been shortlisted they will be required to complete an application form in accordance with our Safer Recruitment Policy.
All other candidates are required to complete the application form which is available in word and pdf format.

The selection process can vary depending on the role but as a minimum it will involve teaching a class and an interview based on the competencies of the role. A subject related exercise is also common.
You must provide the details of two referees as part of the application process. One of the referees must be your current or most recent employer. The second referee should be your previous employer.
A standard part of our recruitment process is to request references prior to interview. If you do not want your referee(s) to be contacted prior to interview, please make sure you state this in your application.

The selection process may vary depending on the position but is likely to consist of you teaching a lesson (the topic and details of the class will be provided to you in advance). You will also go on a tour of the school site and spend some time with the Head of Department. The day will end with a competency based interview.
