School Clubs

Queensmead School offers its students an extensive range of opportunities to involve themselves in the broader life and work of the school. We see it as important that students should further their own personal growth by :

  • Identifying and developing new interests
  • Extending existing skills and talents
  • Giving service

We would hope that all our students could make as great a contribution to the school’s extra-curricular work as they can.

In the Performing Arts, a large number of our students receive tuition in a range of musical instruments and regularly perform in both school and borough concerts. Many opportunities exist too, for students to involve themselves in school productions either on stage or backstage.

Queensmead has a well-established tradition of service to the community. Senior students gain valuable personal experience as prefects when they receive guests to the school and show visitors around. Post 16 students are encouraged to make a contribution for example by giving assistance in local primary schools.

Money is raised and donated to charities each year through a wide range of different activities.
