Jack Petchey “Speak Out” Challenge
The Speak Out Challenge offers a select number of Year 10 students the opportunity to develop their communication confidence amongst their peers.
The program, delivered by the Speakers Trust, in association with Jack Petchey, provides an expert-led interactive workshop, over the course of a school day. Through the workshop, students are guided in the art of persuasive delivery, how to captivate an audience, and how to communicate arguments. At the end, they deliver a speech they have crafted over the course of the day to their fellow peers, leaving the session with increased confidence in public speaking and a certificate of their achievements.
