Open Evening 2026

At Queensmead, we are immensely proud of the success consistently achieved by our students each year and we are pleased to rank in the top 10% of schools across the country for the progress they make. 

Across the school, we have carefully developed our curriculum to enable our students to thrive, creating a balance between the necessary rigour and challenge with the very best each subject has to offer. We want our students to be engaged in their learning and we therefore offer a personalised and flexible curriculum, confident that this will prepare each student for their next step in society. Our aim is always to inspire a love of learning, whilst developing the skills and knowledge students will need for the future. 

Our next open evening for prospective year 7 students takes place on the 16th September 2026. During the evening, you will be able to explore the school and speak to staff and students about their experiences. You will also be able to hear the Head Teacher give talks in the main hall throughout the evening. You can see a taster of the event in the video below.
