Our Governors

Governors work with the Leadership Group at the school to promote continuous improvement in the education provided for all the children attending our school.  We work together to make decisions on the overall direction of the school and set policies, targets and development plans.  We also decide how to make the best use of the school budget for the benefit of the children’s education.

As Governors, we work as a team; every decision we make is carefully considered, with each Governor sharing the responsibility and working collaboratively together, on behalf of the school.

At Queensmead, the full Governing Body meets every term.  Because of the complexity of a school, much of the detailed work is organised through its Resources and Curriculum committees.

If you wish to contact a Governor please email them c/o office@qmschool.org.uk or if you wish to write to any governor, send it marked ‘Private and Confidential’ to the school and the letter will be passed on unopened.
