In year 9, students will continue to study the following subjects:

Students must select TWO of the following subjects and a RESERVE choice. They will study these subjects for 2 hours per week through Year 9. The reserve choice will only be used if we are unable to offer students one of their preferred options. Although it is our intention to give all students their preferred choices, this is dependent on the timetable, class sizes and staffing.

Students have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding about some of the subjects they may wish to study at GCSE. Students must select THREE of the following subjects and one RESERVE option. They will study these subjects for 1 hour per week for 1 term each.
Please note that although we have every intention of offering the following GCSE subjects to students when they come to making their KS4 options, this is once again dependant on timetables and staffing changes.
