In KS3 students follow a programme which allows them to explore more deeply the concepts they are learning, exploring and developing their own ideas and focussing on solving problems as well as practising the key skills.
In Year 7 students will explore some familiar concepts, but will explore these in more depth. There will be an emphasis on creating ideas through exploration and guided discovery, as students develop their problem solving and logical thinking skills.

In Year 9 students are continuing their 5 year pathway to GCSE. They will explore more difficult concepts whilst continuing to develop skills in solving problems and reasoning a mathematical argument. There is a focus on algebra and a more extensive review of data handling.
