Maths Curriculum Information

In KS3 students follow a programme which allows them to explore more deeply the concepts they are learning, exploring and developing their own ideas and focussing on solving problems as well as practising the key skills.

Year 7

In Year 7 students will explore some familiar concepts, but will explore these in more depth. There will be an emphasis on creating ideas through exploration and guided discovery, as students develop their problem solving and logical thinking skills.

Topics will include:

  • Place value
  • Operations on integers
  • Multiply and divide fractions and decimals
