We believe in making food a pleasurable and appealing part of school life, a key part of the education process we strive to provide a daily service, that is above all, an experience that pupils, staff and visitors alike will enjoy. We understand the requirements of pupils at all ages through their school years and develop our food offer with this in mind. We deliver outstanding food, produced by committed teams with a real passion for food and service.
At Accent Catering we are very proud of our ethical purchasing policies and the accreditations we have achieved are testament to our commitment to animal welfare and sustainable purchasing.
By taking a positive approach to healthy eating and nutrition we make sure our dishes are as good for you as they are delicious. Our 3 week menu cycle uses a combination of seasonal, healthy, fresh ingredients to produce creative dishes that pupils want to eat.
We offer the full menu alongside freshly made baguettes, sandwiches, dessert pots and homemade cakes in the main dining room. We also have a full salad bar available daily to help yourself.
Both the Pod and the Locker outlets offer hot street food and pasta options along with lots of grab and go items.
Every month we feature theme days in the restaurant.

Queensmead operates a cashless catering system. The system will allow us to continue with the development of the school meal service, and will provide us with a more efficient, faster and better quality of service.
This system eliminates the need for students to carry cash throughout the day. It is also biometric so there is no need for pupils to carry a card as the system will recognise the thumb of your child at the tills. Please be assured that the biometric information taken is an algorithm and not the actual fingerprint, this information remains within the school.
We will be operating an ‘Opt In’ policy. If you choose not to have your child registered on the Biometric System a 4 digit PIN Code will be allocated. Please note that PIN Codes do not have the same level of security and it will be your child’s responsibility to remember the code and keep it secure at all times.
In an attempt to remove all cash and cheques from school we are asking all parents to only use our e-payment method to pay for dinner money, trips, music lessons etc. This can be done online using a very secure website called ParentPay or in cash in local stores where you see the PayPoint logo.
If you already have a ParentPay account, either with our school or another ParentPay school, you can simply login to that account and add your other children via the ‘Add another child tab on your home page. You will need the below activation username and password to do this.
You have a secure online account, activated using a unique activation username and password; you will be prompted to change these and to keep them safe and secure as your Username and Password for future logins.
If you have two or more children at a ParentPay school, you only need to activate one account to create your ‘main account’ and then add your other children via the ‘Add a child tab’ on your home page.
Please visit www.parentpay.com and activate your account via the ‘Account login’ area on the home page of the site.
ParentPay holds an electronic record of your payments to view at a later date. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away.
Those parents wishing to pay cash should contact the school office to request the option of paying via PayPoint.
If you have any questions you can contact the school Admin Team firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 020 8845 6266.
