On Monday 23rd September the Year 11 Netball Squad traveled to Vyners to play in the Borough Versatility Netball Tournament.
Captained by Millie the team played four matches, where at the start of the match their positions were pulled out of the bag. This allowed the squad to play out of position and demonstrate their excellent knowledge of the game.
The squad started with a 2-2 draw against Bishopshalt, followed by a 4-1 win against Douay Martyrs. They continued this winning streak with a 4-2 win against Northwood School. Unfortunately, they lost their final game 2-1 to Vyners. These results placed them second in their section.
The squad should be extremely proud of their efforts and performance throughout the tournament and also their commitment to training and matches since Year 7. They have been an absolute pleasure to train and I have really enjoyed watching them develop as players over the years.
