Dress a Girl around the World Charity talk.

A very successful session was led by Mrs Jacqui Onslow to explain how the charity ‘Dress a Girl around the World’ operates.  Students were shown pictures of dresses and shorts worn by orphans in Uganda and other countries that were donated to them through this charity.

Some of the dresses and shorts were made by students from various secondary schools and this visit has inspired our students here at Queensmead to want to take part in making dresses and shorts for the charity.  We are really looking forward to working on this challenge and to know that our garments will be useful for someone that needs them.
